The Running of the Goats at Sunflower Farm Creamery

Watch more with these video collections:

What does it sound like when 33 bucklings and 27 doelings run around a farm looking for their 22 mamas? This celebratory video from Sunflower Farm Creamery marked the “end of the 2021 kidding season and the birth of 60 healthy, hopping cuties.”

It’s an epic, bleat-filled run as the hungry kids anticipate their mothers’ milk. Maaah! Maaah! Plus, the end of the video features goat triplets born just the night before.

Sunflower Farm Creamery is a small, no cull dairy in Cumberland, Maine that’s chock full of Nigerian dwarf goats. More about their herd:

The Nigerian Dwarf is a miniature dairy goat of West African origin. Nigerian Dwarf goats are enjoying a rise in popularity due to their small size, colorful markings and dairy characteristics. Their small stature means they do not require as much space or feed as their larger dairy goat counterparts and their gentle and friendly personalities make them good companion pets. The milk is also higher in butterfat and has a sweeter taste.”

And here’s one more delightfully chaotic video from Sunflower Farm—a 90-goat run filmed in 2019:
