How to make The 5-Minute Baguette

Watch more with these video collections:

This 5-minute baguette only takes five minutes of work if you make the dough about 8 to 10 hours before, giving it time to rise, and you plan for 25 minutes of baking time.

But! It’s a super easy recipe with no kneading required. And nothing beats a French baguette fresh from the oven.

after the dough rises
From Voila – Voila!, who counts two minutes of mixing and three minutes of shaping:

“Baguettes for Breakfast, do the mix in the evening and bake in the morning.

Baguettes for Dinner, do the mix in the morning and bake in the evening.

Baguettes for Lunch or else, do the mix in the evening and bake when you want them.”

Another note: The video recommends 900 grams of flour, but 950 grams makes the dough less runny. Both measurements will work. Voila – Voila! shares additional recipe notes and instructions in the caption.

shaping the dough
The ingredients, according to the maker, include: 950 grams of bread flour, which has higher protein content, 2 healthy tsp or around 16 grams of salt, 3/4 tsp or 2 grams of yeast, and 730 ml of filtered, room temperature water.
